DUBAI (Reuters) – International providers will not be authorized to check COVID-19 vaccines on the Iranian folks, President Hassan Rouhani stated on Saturday, a day after Iran’s Supreme Chief banned vaccine imports from the United States and Britain.
“International providers required to give us vaccines so they would be examined on the Iranian folks. But the wellbeing ministry prevented it,” Rouhani reported in televised remarks, with no naming the providers or supplying more facts.
“Our people will not be a screening product for vaccine producing companies,” he additional. “We shall order protected foreign vaccines.”
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s greatest authority, explained on Friday the U.S. and Britain ended up “untrustworthy” and maybe sought to distribute the an infection to other nations.
