A letter despatched to MPs by Community Safety Minister Monthly bill Blair has explained China’s substantial overseas interference software in Canada, stating Beijing was applying a host of covert techniques to silence dissent and steal commercial techniques and delicate engineering.
Addressed to “colleagues,” the 12-webpage letter received by International News called interference by overseas adversaries a “significant threat” to the integrity of the political method and economy, and regularly cited illustrations of China’s hostile routines in Canada.
