Congressman Brian Higgins (D-NY-26) is working with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) on a bipartisan effort to urge the Biden Administration to make a new plan for restoring border crossings between the U.S. and Canada. The borders have been closed to all non-essential travel since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a press release, the lawmakers say they sent a letter to President Joe Biden advocating for safe, reasonable travel between the U.S. and Canada.
