BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The owner of a community company allegedly zip-tied a suspected thief and he and his two sons beat the male over a 45-moment period, inflicting “severe injuries,” in accordance to sheriff’s officers.
John David Sparks, 50, Brenden Sparks, 23, and Trenton Sparks, 20, pleaded not guilty Monday to felony assault and untrue imprisonment with violence.
The incident transpired early April 27 at Sparks Personalized Swimming pools in the 6900 block of Meany Avenue, officials claimed. Deputies termed by John Sparks arrived to find the alleged burglar on the ground with his palms zip-tied driving his again and accidents to his head and facial area.
The hurt person was taken to a healthcare facility and detectives took over the investigation.
